About Us
At Alrayan Food, we bring the rich and authentic flavors of Syria to the heart of Sherborne. Founded by Manal Tameena, a Syrian immigrant from Damascus, our business was born out of a deep love for home-cooked food and a passion for sharing Syria’s culinary traditions with the local community. What started as Manal cooking for friends and family quickly grew into something bigger – a way to preserve cultural heritage and connect with people through food. Today, Alrayan Food has become a much-loved local name, offering authentic Syrian cuisine to homes and events across Sherborne and the surrounding villages.
